The ITE Museum is a Contemporary Folk Art Museum maintained by the city of Kokkola and Maaseudun Sivistysliitto. Its main task is to exhibit and promote Finnish contemporary folk art or ITE art. The building was built in 1813 as a living quarter for the Pedagogio’s teacher. 


In the ITE Museum in Kokkola you can see exhibitions based on the Collections, as well as visiting exhibitions. The Collections are also touring in exhibitions arranged by other museums and art centres in Finland and abroad.
