Erasmus+ Mallorca

Our visit to Mallorca (1.-7.10.2017)

We attended the Erasmus+ “Outdoors in Europe” trip to Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in October 2017. The group that we had consisted of 8 students and 3 teachers. We started our trip to Mallorca from Kokkola 1.10.2017.

After our group had landed in Palma de Mallorca, the hosts welcomed us and sent us to the hostel where we were staying. During our stay in Mallorca, we went hiking, went scavenger hunting, learned about archeological excavation work, played beach games, made paella and made new friends.

The highlights of the trip were the hiking trip to the mountains and the free evenings when we could spend time with our new friends. We went on a hiking trip to Valldemossa which has stunning views and trails and path of different lengths.

On our last day, we made paella. We prepared three kinds of paella: seafood, chicken and vegetable paella in our international groups.

The last night of our stay was sad. Time had passed so fast and we did not want to leave. At the hostel we said goodbyes and left for the flight. Some of us have kept in touch with the other students after coming back home.

The students participating on the trip: Juuso, Boyan, Reetta, Fanni, Tiia-Maria, Vilma, Arttu and Meeri.

The teachers: Tarja, Kimi and Kirsi.
