Support is also available to businesses in exceptional situation

The exceptional situation and amended legislation, caused by the corona epidemic, are affecting businesses all over Finland.  Kokkolanseudun Kehitys KOSEK Oy is still operating during the exceptional situation, and provides services to businesses in Kokkola by phone, email and remote connections. KOSEK’s services are targeted at businesses of all sizes, regardless of their line or form of business, and they are free of charge. 

In addition to individual advice, KOSEK will run three Webinars during this current week and next week. The Webinars will answer questions that businesses have due to the corona epidemic. The Weinars are also free of charge. Register in advance on KOSEK’s website. 


The Webinar topics are:

  1. Konkreettisia vinkkejä talouden hallintaan -webinaari – Webinar on concrete tips for economic governance (Thursday 26.3.2020 at 13:00 to 15:00)
  2. Yrityksille suunnatut rahoitusinstrumentit COVID-19- epidemian aikana – Financial instruments for businesses during the COVID-19 epidemic (Monday 30.3.2020 at 13:00 to 15:00) 
  3. COVID-19- aiheuttamat sopimusrikkomukset ja uudet sopimusehdot - Breaches of contract caused by the COVID-19 epidemic and new terms of contract (Tuesday 31.3.2020 at 13:00 to 15:00) 

The webinars are held in Finnish, but it is possible to ask questions (written) in English via the Webinar chat. 


KOSEK is also preparing a survey for businesses in the Kokkola and Perho region on the impact of the corona epidemic on business activities. The survey gathers information that can be used by decision-makers in the region in their decision-making.
