The improvement of Villa Elba nature trail has begun
Villa Elba’s accessible nature trail will be improved during 2026. The work will be carried out in two phases. Access to Rummelö-Harrinniemi nature trail and Rummelö birdwatching tower will be maintained during the improvement works. During phase 1 of the improvement works access to the Rummelö-Harrinniemi nature trail is redirected to the path along the section of the trail that faces the sea. From the parking area the trail is accessed by walking past Villa Elba’s cabins.
Phase 1 of the improvement works will begin with demolition. The trail will be made accessible. In addition to improving the duckboards, nature trail signs will be installed along the route.
Villa Elba nature trail is one of Kokkola’s highlight destinations and part of Kokkola National Urban Park.
