Hobby Horse Camp for Children at age 7-14 year old
Day Camp at Villa Elba during the Winter Holiday, 23–24 February 2026
This camp is designed for all children interested in hobby horses who want to develop their skills and enjoy spending time together with other enthusiasts. Both beginners and more experienced hobby horse riders are warmly welcome.
During the camp, participants will:
- Practice dressage and show jumping, and present their horse in a horse inspection. We will ride hobby horses in a variety of ways: jumping, dressage, and—weather permitting—also outdoors.
- Learn competition rules as well as horse breeds and coat colors.
- Craft a name tag for their hobby horse.
- If they wish, make halters for their hobby horse and decorate the bridle.
- Develop teamwork skills and a sense of sportsmanship.
- Take part in hobby horse competitions.
We have a few hobby horses available to borrow, but participants are encouraged to bring their own.
Camp Fee
The two‑day camp costs €72 per child.
The fee includes a delicious lunch, an afternoon snack, and guided activities on both days.Schedule
