Guided tour of Kuutti Lavonen’s exhibition

The summer season at the K.H. Renlund Museum opens with Kuutti Lavonen, one of Finland’s most beloved contemporary artists. Drawing on the richness and refinement of the artistic traditions of France and Italy, Lavonen depicts today’s world and the relationships between people in his art. Come and explore the Rosea exhibition with a guide. The tour is held in Finnish.

Summer Opening at the Museum Courtyards

Join us for Kokkola’s Summer Opening at the Museum Courtyards! The day begins at the Museum Quarter with a family-friendly programme from 11 am to 2 pm. Visitors of all ages can enjoy workshops, circus activities and exhibition experiences.

The summer opening continues in the courtyard of Roos House from 5 pm to 8 pm. Live music will be performed by Lenheeti and Sanni-Leena Salonen. The programme also includes poetry recitation by Wanha Kalle and guided tours at Roos House. The evening will culminate in a performance by Raappana, one of the best-known names in Finnish reggae. The event is free of charge.
