Curator’s tour: The Anatomy of Blushing

Sat 24 Oct, 2–3 pm
Roos House, Pitkänsillankatu 39
8/ 5 €

On the curator’s tour, Veikko Halmetoja guides visitors through the themes and artworks of The Anatomy of Blushing. The Anatomy of Blushing is a contemporary art exhibition that approaches embodiment and sexuality openly and without prejudice. The works may surprise, unsettle or even make you laugh – and blushing is perfectly allowed! Paintings, photographs and sculptures come together to form an exhibition in which human experiences and the body take on many different forms.

The tour is in Finnish and lasts 45 minutes. The exhibition and curator’s tour are recommended for visitors aged 16 and over due to sexual imagery. The Anatomy of Blushing is on display at Roos House (Pitkänsillankatu 39) from 23 October 2026 to 21 March 2027.
