The photographs of Leo “Lella” Torppa (1932–2012) offer a glimpse into the daily and ordinary lives of city residents in the past, as well as the changing urban landscape of Kokkola.

Works from the Golden Age of Finnish Art are the focal point on the top floor of the Roos House. The collection includes pieces from artists such as Beda Stjernschantz, Magnus Enckell, Albert Edelfelt, Pekka Halonen and Viktor Westerholm.

The cozy courtyard of the Museum Quarter is framed by the Exhibition Hall, the Pedagogy and the Lassander House as well as Kieppi, Kokkola Museum of Natural History, and the Waffle Café, which is open during the summer.

The English landing craft, Lohtaja Heritage Museum, Tankar Seal Hunting Mseum and the lovely home of Fredrik and Anna Drake are some of our other museum destinations.
