Nature

Isokari is an island dominated by deciduous trees. On its north-western shore lies a large glacial erratic boulder that was transported to its current location by ice during the last Ice Age. The island’s nature is characterised by the sea and lush, grove-like forests. The northern shore features rocky coastal meadows. The Isokari area is home to a diverse bird population. A cormorant colony nests just off the island.
