Collaboration is the foundation of all Kieppi’s activities. We co-operate with, for example, the Geological Survey of Finland, the Finnish Museum of Natural History and local operators, experts and enthusiasts. The local artists bring an important dimension to the delicate nature experience.

Joni Virtanen uses photography, word art and sound art to address themes of silence, presence, spiritual growth and identity. In his work, he expresses things he observes from the perspectives of Finnish culture as well as a culture-free, more conscious existence. His content strongly incorporates things he experiences as highly sensitive person (HSP), both on an individual level and as ideas that examine humanity more broadly. These contents can serve as sources of awareness-raising or peer support. Through spiritual growth, the fading of cultural impressions and remembering one’s own self, he feels that he can function in the best possible way as a human being and be of help to others in remembering themselves.
Joni Virtanen has been working on the themes There is many of me, Chairs and Tremography in recent years. Exhibition is a part of Kieppis Dark adventure-workshop.
