The Kokkola transport network covers traffic between the city centre, the different neighbourhoods and peripheral areas. There are a total of five main lines (lines 1–5) and four basic connections (lines 16–19). The main lines cover transport between the city centre and the different neighbourhoods, while the basic connections extend the transport system to outside the city centre.

Rural public transport services cover Kälviä, Lohtaja and Ullava. The rural public transport services are organised by the ELY Centre for South Ostrobothnia and the City of Kokkola. The connections are offered by several transport companies.
