  • High quality infrastructure and services prepared for heavy chemical industry and auxiliary services, right next to the Port of Kokkola. The regional infrastructure is extensive and of high quality. We offer planned plots, facilities, and an excellent regional road network. The regional infrastructure is accompanied by a vast selection of commodities (including energy, water, district heat, compressed air) in which the region is nearly self-sufficient. The location of the heavy industry area is excellent. Kokkola is situated along the Finnish main railway line, and the railway network reaches the heart of the heavy industry area. The Port of Kokkola has a deep port of 14 meters, a rail car unloader and an All Weather terminal. Currently, we are planning the new Kokkola South area, which is suitable for large-scale projects.
